Hi everyone. My name is Roxanne Wright and this is my education blog. I am a 22 year old licensed preschool teacher, who is currently studying Elementary Education and Theater in college. I have worked as an Arts & Crafts Director, Children's Theater Director, and an Environmental Educator. This blog is full of my educational dreams, inspirations, and tips. When i was young I studied U.S. geography. My teacher said “Would you stand up, and list the states for me?” My knees began a knockin’. My words came out all wrong; then suddenly, I burst out with this little song.
Alabama and Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, and Connecticut and more.
Delaware, Florida, Georgia and Hawaii, Idaho.
Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, still 35 to go.
Kansas and Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine. Maryland, Massachusetts, and good ole Michigan.
Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, and Montana, Nebraska’s number 27, number 28’s Nevada.

When I sat down all outta breath, my teacher said, “That’s great. I’m quite impressed. You were the best at listing all the states. But if you wanna get an “A” for that silly little rhyme, stand back up and sing that song, but do it double time.
