Fact Families: I wanted to come up with a way to differentiate fact families for my students. We began the lesson on the smart-board as a whole group. We then broke off into small groups. I had the higher group work more independent. For the struggling student I added the: plus, minus and equal sign. A great challenge that I would recommend is having some students create their own fact family from scratch. :-) I think they look really nice hanging in my room, too.
