Hi everyone. My name is Roxanne Wright and this is my education blog. I am a 22 year old licensed preschool teacher, who is currently studying Elementary Education and Theater in college. I have worked as an Arts & Crafts Director, Children's Theater Director, and an Environmental Educator. This blog is full of my educational dreams, inspirations, and tips. Ever heard of Sketchnotes? In case you haven’t…it’s visual note-taking. This is a great Powerpoint [and another] explaining the how and what and why.
I’ve been experimenting with sketchnotes for sermon notes, and have been slowly encouraging my students to try it out in class and anytime they’re listening to people talk. Some of them have really grabbed hold of it and love it. I’d like to utilize it more in the future - or at least teach it as a skill.
